Transition Instructions
When transitioning your pet to a new food, we recommend a gradual introduction of the new formula over a 7 day period. For pets with sensitivities, extend the transition period to 10 to 14 days. Start by adding a small amount of your pet's new food to his or her current food. Gradually, increase the new food amount and decrease the current food amount at each feeding until you are feeding only the new food.

Pup loved it!

My Pomeranian was not too happy with the dry food for breakfast. Kibbles were too large. I put this down and it was gone in 30 seconds. i didn't even bother to mix it with his old food. He was looking for more and ate that up as well. So far so good. I only bought the small bag but will buy the large when this is gone.

We are currently weening all three of our small breed dogs onto Diamond Naturals Small Breed Adult. 2 of them from another adult food, and our puppy who turns 1 this week, from Diamond Naturals Puppy, so far so good.

No Appetite to eat this

So I got a really picky eating chihuahua I guess.. He loved his puppy food but vet said he needed to be put on adult food now after his neuter. Reading the reviews of this kind,, I Bought a huge bag of this and he won't touch it, no interests in at all.. small kibble and everything. I even tried freeze dried mixed with it to help me eat it up, he'll eat the freeze dried around it but leave this all left in his bowl. So wasted alot of money on buying a big bag of this. Might be wonderful tasting to other dogs, but mine says a big NO, you wasted your money mom..

We are dog sitting for our son and he feeds Castiel; his Blue Heeler, this food. We ran out and I was creating an order for our pets and decided to go ahead and order Diamond Naturals for Cas. When we give Cas his meals, he gobbles it up. He will be 9 mths old this month, and he is already a strong and healthy dog.

We had to switch our dog food this year when the formula changed and we were struggling to find a dog food that was going to be good for our Havanese. Been feeding it to our dog for months and he enjoys eating it but importantly - he is regular again! Great blend!

The small bites are very small and fine for my 6 chihuahuas. They range in weight from 6 lb to 13 lbs and the size was great for all of them. They love this food and didn't skip a beat with it as a new add to their kibble routine. 6 out of 6 was a WIN.

I usually google healthy foods to feed my maltipoo, and on that list I so far probably tried three. He would eat them, however, it was more so because he would starve his self all day so apparently he wasn't too pleased with the taste. I bought this big two days ago and he goes crazy, not only that, but he now sits at the door where we store his food. I'm so glad I finally found something he begs for and loves to eat, also I love the size of this dog food as well. I love Chewy!

Good transition to adult dog food

I started my puppy with Diamond Naturals small breed puppy formula dry dog food which she liked. Now I'm adding 1/2 of the same brand adult food to 1 of the puppy food to transition her into adult food. She really likes it! Haven't had any stomach problems. I would recommend Diamond Naturals brand.
